The rich food culture in Germany

If I go to Germany and I ask you what I can eat there? What tips do you give me? You will probably name bratwurst, currywurst or beer. Especially with the Oktoberfest that started on the 22nd of September in Munich and the famous Christmas markets throughout the whole country, this is the image that prevails. But the German food culture is more richer than that.

For IndoRotterdammert I attended a special food event in the German restaurant Biergarten Kartoffel in Utrecht. There I learned how rich the German food culture is and also tried some German dishes. Read morea bout them in my guest blog. This article is in Dutch.
